After meticulously prepping the surface, it’s time to start on the ceramic coating application. Here’s how to do it right:
- Apply a thin, uniform layer of ceramic coating across the vehicle’s exterior.
- Follow up with a second layer, ensuring thorough coverage by applying in a cross-hatch pattern.
- Maintain consistency by gently running a clean, soft microfiber towel over the surface.
- Use a fresh microfiber towel to buff away any excess product for a flawless finish.
- Conduct a final wipe-down with another clean microfiber towel to eliminate all traces of residual product.
Allow the coating to undergo a soft curing process for 24 hours before hitting the road. For optimal results, a full hard cure typically occurs within approximately two weeks.
