What are the benefits of Ceramic Tint?

Charge Mods ceramic window tint offers superior performance compared to dyed or metallic tint, making it the premium choice for drivers seeking both protection and comfort. Its durability, sleek appearance, and long-lasting performance make it a smart investment for both daily drivers and luxury car owners alike.

What is VLT?

VLT, or Visible Light Transmission, refers to the percentage of visible light that passes through a window tint—lower percentages mean darker tint, while higher percentages allow more light in.

What are some common VLT options?

70% VLT

A very light shade (almost invisible) of tint that is often used for UV protection, and IR/heat reduction on the windshield.

50% VLT

A light shade of tint that is often used for UV protection, and IR/heat reduction on the windshield, or on windows that already have factory privacy glass.

35% VLT

The most common shade of tint used in Texas.  35% tint on factory glass reads 27% – 30% ensuring compliance with Texas law.

30% VLT

Provides optimal privacy and visibility while (on most vehicles) complying with Texas law.  Note, some windows will read under 25% with 30% film.

20% VLT

A dark shade of tint often used for rear windows when looking for rear privacy while not hindering night time visibility.

15% VLT

An extremely dark shade of tint often used for rear window privacy.  15% VLT can hinder night time visibility for some individuals.

5% VLT

The darkest shade of tint available, also know as “limo tint.”  5% film offers the lowest VLT and highest privacy of any film.  5% VLT can hinder daytime and night time visibility for some individuals.
